As many before me, I did not anticipate working in the staffing industry and essentially found myself falling into the position, quite literally. My dream was to be a professional circus performer and I was auditioning to join Cirque du Soleil when I fell from my aerial silk apparatus and suffered an injury. I realized I was not going to make a career out of performing arts and started searching for my next step in my career. I was then approached with the opportunity to work as a medical scribe recruiter. I was very introverted and unsure if I would be a good fit. However, I decided to give it a try as a new challenge and something that would put me outside of my comfort zone. Over the past 5 years, I started moving up the leadership ladder to where I currently work as the Director of Recruiting for National Recruiting Consultants under DeLibra Wesley. To me, staffing is like looking at a giant puzzle where everyone has a place, you just need to find the right fit. I am a very competitive person and love the challenge staffing gives; you win some and you lose some but being a team player is the most important thing. I could not imagine myself doing anything else and can’t wait to see where this adventure takes me as I get the opportunity to start a team from the ground up.
I am a wife and mother to four animals. I have 2 dogs and 2 cats that keep me very super busy. I love to travel, food, art, reading, learning, cultural experiences, working out and being outdoors.
