Andrew Stein is a member of the Barton Staffing Solutions Leadership Team, and the Director of its direct hire division, the Professional Placement Group, located in St. Charles, Illinois. Andrew is a former C-suite executive who grew up in Illinois and spent his early career on the west coast. By the age of 27, he managed a multi-million dollar hiring budget and built a world-recognized PC software quality assurance organization with 68 contract IT staffing employees at Autodesk, Inc., when located in Sausalito, California. He has recruited, hired and built organizations in Seattle, Silicon Valley, The Bay Area, Houston and Chicago. His industry experience spans manufacturing, mining, transportation, railroads, big data, predictive & prescriptive analytics, geophysics, subsurface modeling, energy exploration, design and building information modeling. Andrew is an award-winning Chief Marketing Officer and advises start-ups on leadership, pervasive strategy, operating models and organizational development. Andrew's search and staffing philosophy has two primary pillars: first, "truly understand the client's goals;" and second, "leverage technology to execute search and placement as a strategic competitive advantage." Andrew holds a BS in Geology from Western Illinois University, and an MBA from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
