As president and CEO, Richard is the American Staffing Association's primary spokesman and is responsible for the overall direction and performance of ASA. Before joining the association in 1989 as vice president, administration and government affairs, Richard led and coordinated government affairs activities on behalf of the staffing industry in all 50 states; Washington, DC; Puerto Rico; and Canada. As the result of ASA’s advocacy, the United States staffing industry continues to operate in one of the most favorable legal environments in the world. It is an environment that is conducive to job creation, flexibility, and innovative workforce solutions that enhance productivity and economic growth.
