Ericka has been recognized by Staffing Industry Analysts as a 2022 DEI Influencer, recognizing individuals from across the workforce solutions ecosystem who stand out in their actions and commitment to advancing diversity, equity and inclusion in their organizations and communities.
Hyson co-authored a book, Together We Rise with fourteen female leaders in the staffing industry. The book is a collection of stories that recount pivotal moments in their lives, including struggles to rise up and stand out in an industry with too few women at its highest ranks. While the book’s launch coincided with International Women’s Day, the experiences shared and lessons learned celebrate the professional, socioeconomic and cultural achievements of women every day. Initial proceeds of the book are being donated to the ASA Women's Scholarship Fund.
She has been honored by the Charlotte Business Journal with a 2018 Women in Business Award. Ericka serves on the Board of Directors for the Colorado Technology Association and National Recruiting Consultants. Ericka volunteers as the 2023 ASA Women in Leadership Council as Vice Chair, and non-profit All-in to Fight Cancer. She is a member of CHIEF, the only private membership network focused on connecting and supporting women executive leaders across all industries.
