ASA is seeking volunteers across industry sectors and staffing specialties and around the U.S. to serve as industry spokespeople for future news media opportunities on an as-needed basis in 2020 and beyond.
As an ASA volunteer spokesperson, you will receive media training and support from ASA experts on how to best convey staffing industry messages and effectively communicate your professional experiences and specialized expertise when speaking with reporters.
Spokespeople will be required to complete a one-hour, virtual media training session (live or recorded) and must be comfortable with potentially speaking with members of the news media on a variety of staffing industry-related topics (primarily for print and digital publications). Personalized support for specific interview opportunities also will be provided, as needed.
As a program participant, a member of the ASA public relations team will contact you on an as-needed basis based on your expertise, geography, and other considerations and depending on the topic of the media inquiry.
