The office–administrative section council is a standing council of the American Staffing Association that advises the ASA board of directors on office–administrative sector-specific issues, coordinates the section’s activities, and helps design programs and services to meet the sector’s needs. The office–administrative section serves firms that place secretaries, general office clerks, receptionists, administrative assistants, work-processing and data entry operators, cashiers, and other office–administrative workers.
Council member responsibilities:
- Participate in quarterly conference calls and provide guidance on sector-specific concerns and challenges
- Identify the section’s priorities for the year
- Review, provide feedback on, and advise ASA staff on educational programs and services to benefit section members
- If attending Staffing World®, participate in section activities
