Not all volunteer opportunities look the same. ASA offers flexible ways to get involved based on your interests, availability, and goals
- Micro Volunteer Opportunities
Short-term, project-based opportunities that let you contribute without a long-term commitment. These include telling your ASA Story, being featured in Staffing Success Member Sound Off, speaker opportunities, and more. New opportunities are posted throughout the year.
- Committees, Councils, and Taskforces
Year-long opportunities to serve alongside peers on a dedicated group focused on a specific sector, discipline, or area of the industry. Members meet regularly, collaborate on resources and programming, and help guide ASA's work in their area.
Volunteer Cycle
For year-long opportunities, here is what to know:
- Service Year: January 1 – December 31
- Applications Open: Early September
- Applications Close: October 31
Micro volunteer opportunities are available on a rolling basis throughout the year.
