Before taking the helm as CEO, Sam Arora served as the company’s VP from 2010 to 2021 and led its business development, human resources, recruiting, and legal departments. He previously served as a State Representative in the Maryland General Assembly, prior to which he was a law clerk to the Attorney General of Maryland as well as the U.S. Attorney’s Office. Mr. Arora has worked as an aide to two U.S. senators and the Democratic National Committee. He was graduated with honors from Columbia University, studied at the University of Oxford, and earned a J.D. from Georgetown Law, where his peers elected him president of the student body. He has served as a member of the policymaking body of the American Bar Association and is admitted to the bars of the U.S. Supreme Court and the State of Maryland.
