Kim started Cobalt Compass training and consulting services to assist staffing professionals in developing skills and strategies to build long term client relationships. The training programs encompass sales and sales leadership and teach the full life cycle of business development in staffing. Consulting services give leaders the methodology to create and operate effective business units while managing teams for performance and revenue.
Prior Cobalt Compass, Kim had 28 years in the staffing industry and served as a member of executive leadership at Hays PLC, a global staffing firm with over $5 billion in revenue, operating in 31 countries. As SVP of Client Services and Global Accounts, Kim was responsible for the development and implementation of global accounts with an emphasis on The Americas. She also established the Government Solutions business which acquired and serviced clients at the state, local, and DOD level. Also, in her tenure at Hays Kim launched and led the commercial National Accounts practice resulting in sales diversification of the US business model.
Before joining Hays, Kim worked for Kforce Inc., a $1 billion national staffing firm. She served on the executive committee and was responsible for the acquisition and development of strategic National Accounts as well as the national sales strategy with execution across multiple product lines.
