Mandie Perdikakis is the Director of Organizational Development for her family owned and operated staffing firm Gus Perdikakis Associates (GPA) in Cincinnati, OH. GPA is celebrating 45 years in providing leading edge, high quality and cost effective technical and professional resource solutions as a firm built on a strong foundation of family culture founded and sustained since 1979. Their motto remains: It’s all about treating everyone like Family.
Mandie’s role is to promote branding, marketing and learning & development efforts, as well as drive operational, sales and recruiting initiatives at GPA. This includes identifying new business opportunities and converting these opportunities to successful sales resulting in more satisfied clients, candidates and associates. She is enthusiastic and grateful each day for the opportunity to promote the growth of her family business and is currently spearheading the plans for the next generation of leadership at GPA alongside her siblings and in partnership with her parents.
Mandie earned a Bachelor of Science in Fashion Design from DAAP at the University of Cincinnati. After graduating, she embarked on a 25-year career in the luxury market of the fashion business as a product leader directing the research, development and design efforts from concept through production. She worked for the contemporary brands Vince in LA and Elie Tahari, Ralph Lauren and White + Warren in NYC throughout her fashion career. After leaving the fashion business, Mandie joined her family’s business in 2016.
Mandie has been a volunteer with ASA, previously on the Engineering, IT and Scientific Council, and currently on the Direct Hire Council. This year she led the Resources Working Group subcommittee in successfully publishing Mastering Direct Hire Staffing: Five Best Practices for Success. In 2024, Mandie was asked to join the Board of Advisors for the Goering Center, an organization in association with the Carl. H. Lindner College of Business at the University of Cincinnati, focused on delivering knowledge, connection and community for family and private businesses in the Greater Cincinnati area.
The engagement of and the wellness of people is Mandie's present day professional and personal focus. She is Yoga Alliance certified in Vinyasa Krama yoga (the study of movement and sequence methodology). Her practice and teachings encompass the concept that the foundation provides extension, expansion and expression.
