Recruitment: List Building

I've been using new (for us) techniques to merge recruitment and list building. Using squeeze pages (information / learning based pages locked until they give an email address) on our website to capture email addresses for the purpose of advertising new jobs and repetitious branding to our potential applicants.

I've been thinking about starting a blog to talk about this specific practice. Being in the staffing biz for almost 10 years - this is the fastest I've been able to capture an interested audience and indirectly recruit. Its much simpler than only gathering email addresses from online registrations / applications (that some potential applicants may avoid if they just aren't ready, or think cumbersome for whatever reasons) Would anyone be interested in hearing more about this - like from a blog or podcast?
