Today marks the beginning of ASA Cares Month—a new, commemorative event dedicated to celebrating corporate social responsibility (CSR) and the association’s partnership with Jobs for America’s Graduates (JAG). During ASA Cares Month, ASA will undertake a variety of initiatives to help educate members about the benefits of launching CSR programs in their own companies.
ASA is committed to advancing CSR, and encouraging members to get involved in their own companies. Why? By doing so, members can help underscore the staffing industry’s commitment to advance social, environmental and economic sustainability by making a difference in the lives of people and the communities in which they live.
It’s win–win.
Many ASA members have already taken the plunge to launch CSR programs that are helping to create positive community change, assist in employee recruitment and retention, achieve other business goals, and help promote a positive image of the staffing industry. The best of the best of these programs are honored with ASA Care Awards every year. To provide members with examples of successful programs (Remember: imitation is the greatest form of flattery.) and to communicate the many benefits of CSR, ASA is dedicating the ASA Central blog during the month of February to spotlight these award-winning programs.
Get ready to be inspired.
