Promoting the staffing profession can help tackle the internal talent shortage. Staffing as a Career committee members support ASA in cultivating and tracking outreach with local colleges and universities; share experiences with internal recruiting and internship programs through ASA publications; develop tools and resources for members; and may have opportunities to present on behalf of the industry.
Committee Member Responsibilities
- Should be familiar with ASA Promoting the Profession and Staffing as a Career initiatives
- Encourages your company’s involvement with program initiatives (social media plan, internship programs, or local events and outreach)
- Share new ideas or successes with ASA staff for ongoing industry promotion efforts
- Serve as a resource for other ASA members desiring to become part of the initiative
- Participate in three calls or virtual meetings annually and on ASA Central committee community
