The purpose of this opportunity is to champion industry education among ASA members and affiliated chapters and regional councils in coordination with ASA staff.
Volunteer responsibilities include
- Review and provide feedback and advice to ASA staff on industry educational programs and services, including Staffing World® workshops and roundtables, ASA webinars, certification and continuing education programs, and other aspects relating to education, as appropriate.
- Actively participate in three to four one-hour committee conference calls per year, and follow through with any commitments made on those calls.
- Participate in ASA programming, webinars, and conference calls as needed and appropriate.
- Communicate with ASA members and nonmembers to encourage participation in ASA educational programs.
- Become familiar with and be able to describe and promote all ASA industry training and certification programs and services.
