The search and placement section council is a standing council of the American Staffing Association that advises the ASA board of directors on issues specific to direct hire services, coordinates the section’s activities, and helps design programs and services to provide value to direct hire firms. The search and placement section serves permanent placement, direct hire, and blended service firms.
Council member responsibilities:
- Participate in quarterly conference calls and provide guidance on sector-specific concerns and challenges
- Identify the section’s priorities for the year
- Review, provide feedback on, and advise ASA staff on educational programs and services to benefit section members
- If attending Staffing World®, participate in section activities
