Professional-Managerial Section Council

The professional–managerial section policy council is a standing council of the American Staffing Association which advises the ASA board of directors on professional sector-specific issues, coordinates the section’s activities, and helps design programs and services to meet the sector’s needs. The professional section serves firms that place professional, managerial, and other nontechnical professionals in occupations that require higher skill or education levels.

Council member responsibilities:

• Participate in quarterly conference calls and provide guidance on sector-specific concerns and challenges
• Identify the section’s priorities for the year and participate in surveys as available
• Review, provide feedback, and advise ASA staff on educational programs and services to benefit section members
• If attending Staffing World^®, participate in section activities
