Health Care Section Council

The health care section policy council is a standing council of the American Staffing Association which advises the ASA board of directors on health care sector-specific issues, coordinates the section’s activities, and helps design programs and services to meet the sector’s needs. The health care section serves firms that place physicians, dentists, nurses, hygienists, medical technicians, therapists, home health aides, custodial care workers, and other health care workers.

Council member responsibilities:

• Participate in quarterly conference calls and provide guidance on sector-specific concerns and challenges
• Identify the section’s priorities for the year and participate in surveys as available
• Review, provide feedback, and advise ASA staff on educational programs and services to benefit section members
• If attending Staffing World^®, participate in section activities
