2021 ASA Washington Network Council

Committee Description

The Washington Network Council is a group of volunteers who help keep ASA and its members informed on local issues impacting the industry and work together to plan in-person networking events for ASA members in the state network.  

Our Ideal Volunteer Candidate

We are looking for members with of all career stages. Our ideal candidate is tapped into the needs and interests of staffing firms in their local area. We are also seeking at least one early-career professional with less than seven years of staffing experience to participate on this council. Council member roles to be filled include areas of Networking, Legal and Legislative, Safety, Membership, and Emerging Leaders.

Goals and Priorities

• Assist with planning local networking and educational programs based on member needs within the local area.
• Serve as local ASA membership ambassadors to welcome new, local members to ASA and act as peer mentors to those members.
• Help keep ASA and its members informed on local issues impacting the staffing industry, specifically legal and legislative developments, and state-specific safety issues

Time Commitment

State Network Council members should participate in 4 conference calls plus taskforce calls as assigned. Members are required to attend at least 75% of council calls.
