Education and Certification Committee

Purpose: To champion industry education among ASA members and affiliated chapters in coordination with ASA staff.

Duties:

• Review and provide feedback and advice to ASA staff on industry educational programs and services, including Staffing World^® workshops and roundtables, ASA webinars, certification and continuing education programs, and other aspects relating to education, as appropriate.
• Actively participate in three to four one-hour committee conference calls per year, and follow through with any commitments made on those calls.
• Participate in ASA programming, webinars, and conference calls as needed and appropriate.
• Communicate with ASA members and nonmembers to encourage participation in ASA training programs.
• Become familiar with and able to describe and promote all ASA industry training and certification programs and services.
