The Mississippi Council is composed of ASA members within the state, and advises ASA on local issues and opportunities, supports ASA staff in the design and implementation of professional development programs, and helps create resources that support the Mississippi area staffing, recruiting, and workforce solutions industry.
Regional Council Member Responsibilities
- Attend and actively participate in all quarterly meetings
- Contribute to identifying and supporting the council’s objectives
- Provide insight and guidance on state-specific issues and educational opportunities
- Serve as a local ASA ambassador (should be familiar with ASA membership benefits)
- Support regional council efforts to increase volunteer and membership engagement
- Participate in the ASA annual membership survey and regional council survey (if applicable)
- Conduct outreach to local staffing firms and industry partners to raise awareness of council activities
