This volunteer opportunity at Staffing World®, the ASA annual convention and expo, is important for the success of the educational quality of the event. You will introduce the session presenter and monitor the session to make sure it runs smoothly. This is a great way to kick off your volunteer experience with ASA and make valuable connections with speakers.
Responsibilities of this volunteer position include
- Review and bring with you to the convention session introduction talking points prior to the live introduction (ASA will send you an email with all needed information prior to Staffing World)
- Provide the 5-minute presenter and session introduction in-person at Staffing World
- Stay for entire session to report any problems to ASA immediately (must be willing to text or call an ASA staff member)
After you sign up to volunteer for this opportunity, you will receive an email from ASA (in September) asking which session(s) you would like to introduce and monitor.
