Most search firm owners fell into the staffing industry from a non-related industry. Chanel Cantu chose this industry before she even completed university. A genuine success story followed. While studying Business Administration at the University of Texas, Chanel recognized her innate talent was reading people accurately. This lead to being guided by people she respected. In her sophomore year, she chose a part time job that relied on her ability to read and assess the skill, corporate culture and work ethic of employees. A perfect match for the largest publicly held staffing firm in the world. She excelled and was fast tracked. At the age of 19, she grew a high performance staffing group within this global giant that caught the attention of many, including her future partners.
In 2003, she was given the opportunity to create her own brand in the staffing industry, as a Managing Partner and President. The company grew and six years later she bought 100% of the company. Today, Chanel has built a family of staffing firms, serving the world of Texas manufacturing that continues to expand. Chanel has served on several boards, to include the Society of Human Resource Management, San Antonio Manufacturing Association, as well as the Texas Association of Staffing.
A native of Wheatland, Iowa and one of 5 kids growing up on a working farm, her standards of work ethic and accountability are common threads within her growing team.
