Hi Michelle!
If you contact your WC carrier, they can often provide a safety tour sheet that your reps can use when they onboard a new client. This can help you identify potential issues or concerns with the job and highlight what the company does really well. We put one in place years ago and also brought in our carrier to do some training with our staff on what to look for and cover restricted codes. Since implementing the tour for every new account, we have realized reduced LT injuries, We've also eliminated risk as well as been even able to make some safety suggestions to our customers. On occasion, our carrier will even accompany our team on the tour.
Hope this helps! Happy Holidays!

Hi,
Probably the easiest thing you can do to begin implementing a safety plan is to contact your insurance broker and ask your GL and WC carriers to provide safety information. All insurance carriers love having clients that buy into Risk Management & Safety First!
Many insurance brokers that specialize in staffing also offer free Training and Safety Videos for you to distribute to your staff.
Good Luck!
