Thanks Joy for your message.
So right now we are waiting for these (and other) states to issue proposed rules on these laws, so we and others can comment on them and eventually get to final rules. There are some provisions, such as in Iowa where conversion fees are no longer allowed, that health care staffing firms can, and should, comply with going forward form the effective date. However, we need to wait on the rules for other provisions, such as registration or licensing requirements. For example, the rules may very well spell out exactly what information they are looking for, when they want it, how they it, etc. Most times they will also publish some sort of model form for firms to use as well. For provisions like those, we will need to wait until the rules are finalized.
That is definitely the short answer and am happy to discuss in more detail for anyone interested. Please feel free to give me a call on my direct line at 703-253-2027.
Thanks
Toby

Subject: Licensure and Regulation of Nurse Staffing Agencies
I am reaching out to see if anyone has any contact information for Iowa, Kentucky and Louisiana on the new staffing agency licensure bills that has been approved. I have reached out to all of these states and seems no one knows anything about the new requirements. If anyone has state contact information for me to reach out to begin the licensing process, I would really appreciate your input.
