How are you handling the I-9 verifications of
hybrid workers? Considering that ICE has extended again the Covid exemption for virtual I-9 verifications for
remote workers til 7/31/23, I'm wondering how this applies to those employees who are working hybrid. If the hybrid work is predominantly remote (for example 3 days at home, 2 in office or 4/1 etc) would you consider the ICE exemption also to be applicable to hybrid employees or only fully remote work?
Thanks for any input on how you interpret the ruling. We want to ensure we are in compliance!
