    Hi Jessica,

I'm happy to answer any questions you have about Avionte's 24/7 app (Powered by WorkN). We at NEXTAFF have a white-label version of the WorkN app and do use Avionte Bold's integration with it. I can say that the experience you have with it could be tremendously different than our experience with it based on several factors: Business model, industry/vertical, goals, expectations, etc. so before I dive too much into answering your initial question, could you share a bit more about your business, industry/vertical, goals and expectations when seeking an app so I can better cater my response to what you're specifically seeking?

    Thank you,

    Hi Nicole,

Thank you for responding. We are a skilled labor commercial construction staffing firm. We place temporary employees with electrical, plumbing, etc. subcontractors. We are looking to simplify processes for our candidates. We like that employees can share the app with their referrals and get them to apply instantly. A lot of our referrals come from active job sites where candidates are working for other contractors. They do not particularly want to take off from work to fill out an application. We are learning most online applications are done from a phone and even if the site is web compatible it just isn't formatted in a way that is still as trouble-free as an app. From a job order standpoint, we are interested in seeing how it would help us with candidates having job orders available to them in real-time versus us sending a mass text or calling them. I hope this helps. If you would like to reach out to me directly please feel free to do so. Thank you again!

Thank you for that insight, Jessica! We've been utilizing the white-label version of the app since 2021 and we utilize the app and integration with Bold in 2 ways that might interest you. I'm not sure what the duration of your assignments are with your contractors, but they sound like they may be less the temp-to-hire model and more project/contract based. There is actually an incredible amount of opportunity to support your process if this is the case.

1 - Avionte's integration allows you to pick criteria to determine which talents are invited to the app, so you can control this (if you want). Smartlinks are incredibly powerful!
2 - The app is powered by WorkN and there is an admin portal (at least for white label, unsure about 24/7) which allows Customers and Jobs to flow through, but also gives you more control over shift-work creation (think day labor, PRN, or the Uber model) which allows talents to be able to pick and choose the shifts they wish to work. This is a more critical component for our PRN Healthcare teams and for our teams that staff events, but could be great for short-term contracts as well!
3 - Having the app allows talents to manage their availability, schedule, easily review available jobs that match their skills and location, allows them to view their pay, easily show interest, apply, or accept jobs, refer their friends, and there are options to directly allow the talents to reach out to the team member in charge of the role if they have any questions.

4 - The most critical pieces for success that I've found include: working with your representative to closely understand your business operational needs, how you and your teams are currently using Avionte, what you are hoping to achieve with the app, and setting critical expectations with your rep, your team, and your talents. Having adoption during UAT (User Acceptance Testing) is a must as this will allow team members to express any areas of concern, test to see if workflows work to the level of expectation your team(s) need, and work with your rep to work out any kinks before going 'live' with your full teams.
5 - The opportunity to streamline workflows, create transparency with talents, give a better user and talent experience, and increase fill rates while reducing time-to-fill all exist. I will say that you will want to be intimately familiar with the capabilities of both Avionte and the app in order to best support your teams and the field employees.

6 - It is important to recognize that both Avionte and 24/7 are going to be undergoing improvements and changes to evolve with the talent market. Having an app will make your organization more accessible and friendly to talents and it's highly likely that having an app as part of your tool-kit will become a necessity to compete in the near future. Utilizing one that is not only integrated with Avionte, but that is owned by Avionte I would argue is going to be more efficient than any other app from an all-in-one, reducing duplication point of view.
7 - I also like to point out that having an app like this will only be as good as your data. Start dates, end dates, creation of orders, adding skills to talent records, etc. all need to be clean to have the best experience. The expectation I would encourage is that it will be a bit of a lift to clean up data before rolling into UAT and then you will want to have change champions in your teams that will will be helping lead adoption, communicating the change management process, and having communication to your talents and potentially clients depending on if you utilize client-access to create orders.

I'm happy to answer any other questions or concerns you may have as I've been very hands-on with every step of our implementation, training and adoption.

Hello Jessica.  I can tell you we currently also have the white label version of 24/7.  We've been on it for about a year now using the Bold integration.  We tried it prior to the integration it and was a lot of duplicated work.  Using it now as an integrated part of Avionte Bold has been a much better experience.  We started using it in the beginning for talent matching which took some work on our side to get a better understanding of how skills and radius drove this and then we had to retrain our staff to understand the importance of skills not only on the talent side of things, but also on the customer side.  Then the training shifted to ensuring a good understanding of putting correct information on the job order templates and making sure the jobs synced with solid information that would reach the right people and engage their interest. The reason I say all of this is because how well it works for your business really depends on how well you understand the process, how well your team understands it and what it can do for both the candidate and the recruiter.  I think it's a fantastic way to push out your jobs to candidates without their need of even going to a job board to seek out work, which with the current workforce is highly desired....the easier the better.  All of this really hinges on adoption of the app as well, so it's very important to make sure that your staff really talk to the talent about what the app can do for them, ensure that they not only download the app, but that they make sure they get logged in to receive notifications.

As far as the features, we love not only the talent matching but also the pay module. It's a really clean look with a lot of data that our talent in the field and our staff love.  They just started sending out notices of the onboarding piece and I only see the app getting stronger for an overall uber type experience.  In saying all of this, it's a great product that I feel Avionte hit the grown running with it once they acquired it, but in order to have success with it, it requires your staff to be committed to the process and have a strong understanding of how important adoption and solid skill identification on talent records are.

    I hope this helps.
