  • 1.  Contractor Benefits - Thoughts?

    Knowing it is a candidates market, and will continue to be, I am researching possible benefits we can offer our contractors - making needed enhancements. 

    Interested in hearing from membership of specific benefits offered and the stipulations for contractors to obtain them. 

    I'm curious to learn from my ASA peers!!!

    Hi Jim. Benefits are good, but a more comprehensive approach is worth considering as well as it relates to the "seller's market" we find ourselves in today.

    How can you make it easier for new candidates to find you? To complete the hiring process easier and more quickly? To get their work preferences and needs more clearly heard and, as much as possible, met? How can you approach candidates with as much vigor as prospective clients?

    For your current contractors, how can you develop relationships with them similar to those you seek to have with your clients? How can you create a community for your candidates and talent that makes them feel like they are part of something bigger - something really important? 

    This is not to say that your benefits program cannot and should not be addressed. I'm just giving you some additional food for thought.
