Hi Michael,
Thank you for your comments/ feedback. We work with a large PEO that has also seen significant driver/ trucking growth. They have grown to over 200M in the last 10 years.
A good friend of mine owned/ operated a FED Ex trucking bus and had about 20 trucks in MD. He was always looking for drivers, and these drivers worked 12 hour days / 5 days a week and were able to come home each night. Still tough to find drivers. Most earned around 60-70K/yr.
I believe given this anecdotal information and employment data from the WSJ, I too believe it is a growth staffing niche where the EEs are paid a relatively high wage.
Stay safe
David

David - Ii can tell you from my experience this is not a blip at all. We are members of multiple Trucking and Logistics groups in the NE where the member companies are always looking for drivers. This is going to be a long term deal not a blip....

Dear ASA family,
We have noticed an uptick in inquiries from staffing firms that staff drivers for trucking cos. seeking work comp solutions for these positions-- which fortunately we have affordable comp programs for. Some drivers work directly for the trucking/ logistics co and some are owner operators.
Do you think this is more of an "blip" or sustained growth in a staffing niche?
Stay safe,
David
