    Hi all –

Does anyone have a work from home policy they would be willing to share?

We are a company of about 40 internal employees and consist of operations, Temp recruiters, professional recruiters and a sales team.

Wondering if you have a policy – is it tied to performance?  IF so, activity?  Billings?

Would love to hear how yours is structured.

    Thank you in advance!

    Joy

We have two internal staff members who work fully remotely, and allow staff some flexibility (e.g. one or two days a week based on role).

This is the policy from our internal staff handbook. It's supported with a checklist for the manager to go through with the employee and set expectations on where they'll work, what equipment they'll use, what schedule they'll keep, etc. We've kept the policy purposefully open because, for us, it really comes down to whether you are getting your job done, hitting your goals, showing up for meetings, and supporting/collaborating with the team.

    REMOTE WORK

Remote Work is a voluntary work alternative that may be appropriate for some employees and some positions, allowing the employee to work at home or another offsite location for some portion of their regular workweek. When being considered as an occasional or regular arrangement, Remote Work options will be evaluated based on the employee, job responsibilities, and supervisor recommendations. This is not an entitlement nor a company-wide benefit, and in no way changes the terms and conditions of employment with Portfolio. If you would like to be considered for Remote Work on a short- or long-term basis, speak with your supervisor to request an evaluation. If approved, you will be responsible for providing your own fully-equipped safe and healthy workspace.

We are seeing remote and flexible work become a highly coveted perk. Our talent have always wanted it, but even in the creative industry we did not see clients open to it until lately. That is starting to change so I'm very interested to see what other people share.

We decided we would allow staff to work from home one day a week, per manager approval, once they've hit a billing goal the previous month. They need to do this each month to qualify for the next month. It's a win win for everyone!

Our policy is as follows, "You can work from anywhere on planet Earth all the time". Noting that we are a top 100 staffing firm in the US from a revenue point of view. A fully remote policy will allow you to attract more talent and operate more agile than other options.
