Now that most have been vaccinated and most are back at work, what are you doing should you have a temp worker inform you they tested positive for covid or were around someone who tested positive and they aren't vaccinated?

Is there a decision tree that takes into account we are in a post vaccinated time?  Much of the CDC guidance is the way it was before people were vaccinated and I just want to be sure I am up to date on the latest greatest from the CDC.

    Hi Renee,

    Great Question:
I had a worker this morning called off due to being sick and the company I am contracted with is requesting a doctors excuse that he is ok to come back to work and also get COVID Testing! We all still must take all precautions, so everyone is safe!

I would recommend discussing this concern with each company that you work with-so everyone is on the same page.

    Hi Renee –

We follow same procedures as we have throughout this pandemic.  Just doesn't seem to happen as often anymore! Knock on wood...

You are very lucky there in Kentucky! In Kansas less than 43% of the population ages 12 and up are vaccinated. Most clinics here are recommending that close contacts that are vaccinated should self-monitor for symptoms; those that are unvaccinated should quarantine. We work closely with our job sites and enforce their policies. We still have some clients that require sick employees (any symptoms of illness) to remain home until they are symptom-free for 72 hours - this is our biggest challenge at this time!
