  • 1.  Benefits for staff vs. in-house team

    We are newer to staffing and are weighing how to think about employee benefits for staff employees vs. our in-house team. How do you approach benefit packages in your staffing firm, and do your packages differ for these groups? Thinking about health plan coverage, retirement matching, PTO, etc. 

    Appreciate any input.

    Being in a smaller company now- the medical, dental, and vision are the same for internal and external employees. The PTO is only for internal employees. With my previous experience in a large Fortune 500 Company. Everything was very different

    Hi Casey –

     

    We are all light industrial/warehouse/food mfg. staffing --- We have a medical benefits package for our temporary employees thru ESC (an ASA partner).  We also pay holiday pay to employees who have worked at least 500 hours within the last 6 months of the holiday.

     

    Staff benefits are totally separate from these.
