Aneesa,
What a great topic! Like many on here I'm an avid reader. I've listed mostly business texts, but I find that you can often pick up some great tips from other nonfiction genres including history, biography, and psychology. I've even found that reading narrative fiction helps me immensely with empathizing with customers and employees from different backgrounds than my own. Happy reading!
Some of my favorite business related or nonfiction books (some already mentioned here) are:
- Good to Great - Jim Collins
- Leaders Eat Last - Simon Sinek
- Servant Leadership - Robert Greenleaf
- The Tipping Point - Malcolm Gladwell
- The Change Cycle - Ann Salerno
- Crucial Conversations - Kerry Patterson
- Influence: the Pyschology of Persuasion - Robert Cialdini
- Drive - Dan Pink
- Made to Stick - Chip and Dan Heath
- The Art and Science of Training - Elaine Biech
- Predictably Irrational - Dan Ariely
- Team of Rivals - Doris Kearns Goodwin
- The Believing Brain - Michael Shermer

Subject: Book Recommendations?
Happy Hump Day!
In NYC, we are over the midweek hump and glad to be!
Last year I was gifted Unapologetically Ambitious By Shelley Archambeau and it was truly an empowering read that I have now gifted to three other individuals. I am currently in the middle of Dare to Lead by Brene Brown.
Was wondering if any of you care to share your current reads or maybe one that was pivotal in your career?!
Look forward to adding them all to my reading list!
