  • 1.  I-9 Documentation for Contractors

    Hi - I have a question on 1-9 documentation for contractors that are placed on assignment or we are working with for placement. Does anyone know of a great way to keep track of these documents? I know each state has different policies on the amount of time to keep these records - is it alright to attach a copy to a candidate's profile in Bullhorn?

    We store all of our I-9's electronically.  Although I'm no legal expert, what we have done is create a security group so that our recruiters who are placing the candidates can't seem the I-9 on file.   By not allowing our recruiters access to the documents we have found that this eliminates the risk of discrimination and allows us to find the forms easily if needed.  I am sute that Bullhorn has security settings that would allow for something similar.
