This is a great question!
We also accept walk ins on a limited basis. We encourage appointments (we do ask a series of covid screening questions over the phone so we can try to avoid scheduling someone actively sick or in recent contact with someone positive). We have a set limit on how many applicants we have in the office at one time. If we reach "capacity" we politely ask the walk in to make an appointment for a later time. We have a documented procedure and owners for cleaning and wiping down surfaces between candidates, and every applicant picks up a pen when they first arrive and take that same pen with them when they leave. We also have a "scrub in, scrub out" process for applicants and staff where we ask them to apply hand sanitizer upon entry and exit. Our tables and chairs are spaced 6 feet apart for social distancing, so we can speak with candidates without getting too close.
We have a state mandate requiring masks in all establishments, so masks are mandatory for staff and applicants. We also have extra paper masks we give out if someone forgets.
