Paid Sick Leave

On July 1, 2015 California's AB 1522 (Paid Sick Leave) goes into affect.  How are staffing firms around the state, and/or other states that have similar mandated laws, how are you recouping such costs?  We need assistance with our industry's best practices.

Theresa, in speaking to many of our clients, some of our competitors are choosing to wait and see. We have proposed rate increases as we do foresee the PSL being a great resource for our associates and thus expect them to use it once accrued.
I have heard of others billing back for days used but some companies only want to be billed for hours accrued by employees while on assignment for them.
Would love to hear the numbers and rationale behind other methods.
